The other day

Hi people. Here's my first post on my blog. From past 2 hours I am thinking what to write, how to start. Then I thought why to think so much. I just have to write my heart out. So here I am, scribbling on this page whatever is coming to my mind.

First of all, introduction, I am Alok Pal, I am an advertising student, an artist, a writer and an aspiring film maker. Hailing from a conservative family is not a cakewalk for those who think different. I am one of those fortunate or maybe unfortunate people who come out of their social bondage and think of doing something which they want to rather than doing what their parents want them to do.

I am an introvert person. Don't talk much to others around. But that does not mean that I do not talk. I do, but to myself. Most of the people, in fact everybody is busy in their lives that they do not get time to talk to themselves. Talking to oneself is equally important that to communicate with the outer world.

People, these days depend on counselors to know themselves. I believe that answers to ones questions are within him only, so instead of seeking the answers from others, ask yourself. I do this and I do get the answers. My mom is a very religious person. She keep fasts, goes to temple and does so many things to please god. I do not consider this wrong, but I always ask her, do we really have to search god outside when he is within us all the time? Do we really have to keep fasts pleasing the God? Does he really get pleased by seeing his children in pain? God knows.

I am living in India from last 23 years but still I doubt that I know about India so well and confidently. I don't know whether I can commit something to a foreigner friend in India. I am still dicey about taking my female friends outside for a party or night out. I am afraid of crossing another community's colony alone. What if the riots happen.
So when I myself am not sure about what happens next in my country How can I make somebody else believe that my country is safe?

15 days back my friend suffering from jaundice, was coming out of her college when a car romped over her leg. The car stopped and a dude came out of the car and started laughing. When the girl complained she said " Main to tujhe sirf chedd raha tha" (" I was just teasing you") and went away.
The girl is still on bed.

The moment i heard this I felt like killing that animal who didn't even stop to help the poor hurt girl. But How many people will you fight. Are we suppose to fight for ourselves or the people in khaki uniform have to think over this?

What would you do if something of this kind happens in front of your eyes?

I conclude this post with this question. Please give your answers and suggest how we can punish that person non-violently.

ALOK
